12 mile training walk. 85 degree temp. 100 % humidity.

I am pumped and primed!! What a great way to start the weekend. Knowing that all I have to do is walk and I can possibly help prevent just ONE woman from facing breast cancer!! This is awesome.
Now this walk did produce some interesting sights. It seems that part of my path was down what we used to call "lovers' lane". Well friends, things must have changed since I was a lad (long long time ago) but when we left the lane we didn't leave our underthings behind. I might say though if she could fill the cups that she did leave behind that she should be very proud and he should consider himself very lucky indeed.
Guys, this is all about celebrating life. I hope that young lady never has to hear the words "you have a lump". And if she does I hope it is followed by "but we have a cure".
That is what we are walking for. A CURE!!!

Wouldn't it be nice if all of the little girls born this day would not have to face breast cancer themselves or in their Moms? We can make that happen.
