Coincidences

Went to a "meet the baby" party at an old friend's house today. While I was there I ran into the lady who started my 3 day journeys. Several years ago I received her donation request and was moved by the cause. I couldn't walk that year (registration was closed) but have used her as the "who" got me involved.
Good to see you again Sue!

Inspiration

Saturday night we had some old friends over for dinner. It was great to see them for a couple of reasons (old friends are the best, etc, etc). While they were there, I asked the wife P to autograph my new 3 Day visor. She was diagnosed about two months after my first walk. When she signed the hat she added “5 year survivor”. WOW that is the kind of thing that makes my day. During the evening we talked about her journey a couple of times and how her overall great attitude was a major factor in getting her through. At her last checkup her health was off the scale on the good side. Looks like we won this one! What we all agree upon is that besides her great attitude EARLY DETCTION was the key in her case.
